New Life

A few days ago, my daughter gave birth to an exquisite little boy weighing in at 8lbs. 3oz. That blessed event made me a first-time grandmother!!! Something else spectacular happened that afternoon. I witnessed a ripple-effect of new life spread throughout the waiting room when it was announced that he had finally arrived. The joy was uncontainable. The flow of positive energy was unstoppable. Adults that hadn't slept all night were suddenly filled with vigor. If a tiny baby who doesn't know anything about anything can create that kind of response by simply 'being', think what joy you could spread knowing that you CAN. Each of us has the potential to spread that kind of joy everyday. All we need to do is 'be' the miracle that each of us truly is and our very presence will set off a ripple effect of love to whoever crosses our path. Be totally alive and spread some joy today!
